Winner HGTV People’s Choice Award! I am thrilled to have been selected the Winner in the HGTV People’s Choice Awards 2016. Today I received a FedEx package and didn’t even open it as I was rushing to an appointment. Let’s just say I was surprised when I opened it as I didn’t even know there was a vote happening on HGTV. ( I would have voted!) .
Here is a photo that arrived in the mail (sans any explanation whatsoever!) of the kitchen that won the HGTV People’s Choice Award for Trends in 2016. This trend happens to be Gray or White Cabinetry and this kitchen is a stunning example. In this kitchen, a subtle hand applied glazing enhances the visual appeal of the creamy white beaded cabinet doors in this elegant kitchen. The color of the cabinets is Sherwin Williams “Creamy” with “Stone Lion” Glaze.
The “sexy” curved top drawers add an unique design element to the cabinet style. While the cabinets look as though they are inset, these are a hybrid style that are actually frameless to allow for maximum interior storage capacity. The polished nickel hardware and leaded glass fleur de lis design complement the formality of this grand estate.
White ice granite slab back splash and countertops add drama and textural interest.
