Autumn Lane Kitchen

Completed over 15 years ago this kitchen has stood the test of time. A complete gut to the studs, this remodel was designed to enhance my home that is 100 years old. The finishing details include full frame inset cabinetry with leaded glass windows. Antique crystal knobs which I found in various salvage stores throughout the country echo those which are original elsewhere in the home. A custom hood, crackled “subway” tile and large windows, also with leaded glass details make one think it was almost original to our Century old home. Opening this kitchen up to the grand view of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains enhanced the entire flow of the home. The original powder room, which blocked the views entirely, was moved into a laundry center which was relocated to the upper floor. A useful desk/computer area was incorporated out of the prep area. A pony wall hiding the components allows the user to face the fantastic view.
