In this Mid-Century home, we updated a dark and dated kitchen by installing a huge window which expanded the view of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains. Not only did it bathe the kitchen with much needed light, but dramatically changed the perspective. Lovely custom walnut cabinets, new natural stone countertops, cool backsplash tile and plumbing fixtures, not to mention all new lighting transformed the space into a bright kitchen with character authentic to the age of the home.
